I wanted to Thank you all for your support of the Mama Mia Dinner Fundraiser.  We raised almost $400!!  It was so nice to see such a big turn out. Hope you all enjoyed the beautiful music from the St. Andrew Bell Choir as well.  If you are interested in joining the Bell Choir, talk to Mrs. Milliser (Ladybug teacher.)   All and All a very special evening of fellowship.
Thirty-One Gifts orders were turned in this weekend.  What a great opportunity to do a little Holiday shopping early.  Thank you Jessica Bender for generously donating her commission to the Preschool!
Kids Kreations orders were submitted last Friday.  The artwork that your children created was just beautiful and I look forward to seeing their creations on the gifts that you have ordered.  Seeing the finished products is always very exciting.
Last Week, the children had the opportunity to enjoy a visit from the Fire Department.  Thank You Mellissa Bingham (Yellow Duck) for coordinating this for us.  We had hoped to have a fire drill on Thursday to practice our fire safety skills.  Unfortunately, it rained.  So,  this week we will be having a fire drill.  Please talk to your children about the importance of watching their teachers and following directions quietly and quickly.  It is helpful to talk to them about the fact that the alarm may be quite loud.  It is important that it is loud so that everyone can hear it.  Reassure them that their teachers and Mrs. E are there to keep them safe.
Tomorrow, Nov. 12, is chapel. The children will be learning about “Jonah, and the importance of obedience. They will also have the opportunity to actually go inside a giant inflatable whale!!  Unlike what Jonah had to experience the whale has a carpet inside where we can continue to share the story of this reluctant prophet.  Once again, I extend the invitation to anyone who is interested in attending.  Friends, neighbors, relatives etc.  Program begins around 9:20am
On Thursday, Nov. 14th, I will be out of the building at a Website refresher course. I am very excited about the opportunity to spruce up our website and make it as attractive and useful as it can be.  PLEASE let me know if there are any suggestions that you have.  I truly appreciate your feedback.
Saturday, November 16th, is Compassion Saturday.  This is an annual event that is sponsored by St. Andrew Presbyterian.  There are activities for all ages and childcare is available.  See me if you have any questions.  There is a binder in the atrium for you to sign up for the variety of activities.
