St. Andrew Preschool is Proud to be Connected to the Community!
St. Andrew Presbyterian Church
St. Andrew Presbyterian Church of Suffolk welcomes you to worship God with us, grow in your relationship with Christ and share the Spirit of the Lord across the street and around the globe. Our congregation lives out a set of spiritual core values that guide all we do as a church.
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is Starting at St. Andrew
This year St. Andrew Preschool is excited to be hosting MOPS here. Information and the schedule is on the Special Events page on the St. Andrew Preschool website. Free childcare is provided. We are inviting our preschool moms and anyone else in the community to join us. If you know someone, let them know about MOPS at St. Andrew.
Remarkable things happen at a MOPS meeting. We will build small groups of moms who meet to share their hopes, fellowship, and insights with other moms by sharing , games, videos, crafts, service projects and play dates.
To Register:
Go to the MOPS website http://www.mops.org/ and use the Quick Registration Code 52AY for St. Andrew (zip 23433) to register or find out more about MOPS. Registration is limited. The local dues will help defray the cost of childcare, crafts and other meeting expenses. The St. Andrew’s MOPS online page and Facebook page can give you more information.
If you have any questions, please contact Carol Carnegie at 757-714-2211.

Suffolk Public Library
We are very happy to host the Suffolk Public Library each month. Each class enjoys a variety of Children’s Literature told by the gifted storytellers of the library. Puppets and flannel boards bring the stories alive as children listen, sing and enjoy. Each month, the library sends over a collection of books relating to the thematic units that are being covered.
Department of Social Services
St. Andrew Preschool is licensed as a Religiously Exempt Child Daycare Center. We must submit certain documents to the Virginia Department of Social Services annually. These documents include:
- Statement of intent
- Certification of tax-exempt status
- Local health and fire reports
- Verification of required staff/child ratio and staff health reports
- Statement showing the facility is in compliance with other health and safety requirements in the Code.
