Our Preschool is completeing its 25th year!!
Frances Jornov, was the original director of the program that went from Mother’s Day out to preschool under her leadership. Mrs. Jornov now works with Suffolk Public Libraries and has continued to share her talents with us by bringing storytime into our classrooms. Throughout the year your child has enjoyed stories, finger plays and fun with librarians once a month. This Monday the Goldfish, Green Frog, Blue Horse, and Red Bird classes will host these special visitors.
School Pictures will be taken this week! If you didn’t receive a print copy of the order form there was one emailed out last week. Extras will be available.
Tuesday – School Pictures for Brown Bear, Goldfish, Yellow Duck
Wednesday – School Pictures for Brown Bear, Green Frog, Blue Horse, and Red Bird
Tuesday Evening the Staff will be treated to an Appreciation Dinner at the Hilton in Downtown Suffolk. This event is sponsored by the Early Childhood Development Commission. It features a sit down meal, inspirational speaker, door prizes and big thank yous for Suffolk Early Childhood Educators.
Room mothers will meet on Wednesday after drop-off. As we head into our last month of school, we will be continuing to plan our end of the year carnival, trike-a-thon, and festivities as well. Please feel free to join us in the atrium!!
